Okay so I was looking to get some more hours at work, and asked if i could try working at a store taking calls. At first they said "no", but later they changed their minds. First they told me I could work two days at the North Royalton Pizza hut. I drove all the way there, only to be told "go home, we don't need you." But later that night I found out that they weren't answering their phones, go figure. I was supposed to work the next day too, but I wasn't going to drive all the way there to be sent home again, so I called the call center and got transferred to the store, but they didn't answer. I tried a few times, then the manager at the call center said she would get a hold of them and let me know. They didn't need me again.
The next time I went into work, at the call center, the managers all apologized to me for what happened, and they said that I could work at the Bedford store two times this week. The first day I worked there wasn't that bad. This lady Marie that also works at the call center was there, so we talked for a while until she had to leave. Then I was so bored I thought I would kill myself lol... it was so bad. This one random guy kept talking to me. I could barely understand him and he was like telling me his life story but he was nice. The next day I went in was a completely different story.
When I got there Cynthia, who used to work at the call center but is now only working at Bedford, was there. She told me she preferred it there, which shocked me. She had to leave like an hour after I got there and I was supposed to be working an 8 hour shift. I was working in the back by myself for a really long time... luckily i could text. Then I went up front to get food because it was time for my break. I found out that Catherine who I work with at the call center had been there for like two hours. So after my break I decided to work up there for a while. Then one of the phones rang and I was about to get it but this guy who works at the Bedford store grabbed it and took the order. The Phone started ringing again, so i went to go get it in the back since both of the front phones were in use. But this one manager was like "you know there's another phone in the back right" and she gave me this really bad attitude. So I went an took the call and I was going to stay in the back again, but I left my stuff up front. I was going to go get it and on my way back, while I had the stuff in my hands heading toward the back, she was like "Stay in the back and take calls" with an attitude.
By this time I pretty much had my mind set on hating her and didn't think I could be more annoyed. So I took orders for a while, then I got someone complaining that they got the wrong thing on their pizza, it was rang up wrong. So I told them that we would send out the correct pizza and they would just have to give the old one back. They said that was fine, then hung up. I went to get the manager, the lady I hated was the only manager that didn't leave already. She got all mad when the customer already hung up. Then she looked at the screen I told her it was rang up wrong, she said "Oh so you guys F***** up" without even checking who took the order, which is easy to find out even I know how. Then she told all the drives "don't worry it's not your fault it was them." I checked who took the order and it turns out that it was the guy who grabbed the phone before I could get to it, one of her guys, Not me or Catherine. She gave me an attitude like it was my fault that they had to take their own orders in the first place, like I was making her life miserable.
The Next incident that happened was I took and order, and were not allowed to take orders with a 5111 number IF they are Ohio Quick Pay Child Support Cards over the phone, but there are other cards that start with those numbers. She came at me with the receipt and showed it to me. I told here that I verfied that it WAS NOT an Ohio Quick Pay Card. Which I did. She looked at me like I was stupid and pointed at the sign which said that "You must verify that 5111, and 5155 ccard numbers are not an Ohio quick pay card." then she said "Well we can't take these over the phone, now I have to call the customer."
Then there was an out of state area code, which at the call center we just ask a manager to add the prefix for us because it won't go into the computer. So I went up and told her that I needed a prefix added. She once again looked at me like I had something wrong with me, and just put the number in with a 440 area code, which is local. I had already tried to do it with 216 and it didn't work. She didn't even tell the customer that she did that. So if they call back and can't find their order their screwed. I think Broadview and Snow Pizza hut did the same thing when I placed my order there. Even though I know both stores have the capability of Adding the area codes & prefixes because we do it all the time. They're just too lazy to do it, just like they're too lazy to answer the phones. One of the other phones rang, it was the back line like where the call center calls to. and they didn't even acknowledge that it was ringing, I don't think they ever picked it up.
So basically she is a psycho and I hate her with a passion because she doesn't know what she is doing.
